The 2021 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru includes 50% whole bunches (pédicelles) and 20% new oak. Plenty of crushed stones on the nose, mainly black fruit, hints of oyster shell and white pepper. The palate is beautifully balanced with a silky texture, sleek and tensile with cracked black pepper and limestone on the finish. Superb.

The 2021 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru is lively, unwinding to reveal aromas of smoky berries, cherries and plums mingled with hints of forest floor and smoked meats. Medium to full-bodied, supple and layered, with powdery tannins and succulent acids, it's a fleshy, charming wine.
