Tasting notes
The 2021 Mazoyères-Chambertin Grand Cru is matured in 20% new oak and 50% whole bunches (pédicelles) . This has another crushed stone-scented bouquet, unfurling beautifully in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, blood orange and touches of marmalade. Quite firm and structured towards the finish, a more masculine Mazoyères that will require 3-5 years in bottle.

Aromas of raspberries, blackberries, vine smoke, warm spices and rose petals preface the 2021 Mazoyères-Chambertin Grand Cru, a medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy wine with melting tannins and an impressively long, saline finish.
