Score 92-94/100 · Drink 2017-2035, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2014
The 2013 Echezeaux Grand Cru, from the domaine's oldest vines aged over 90 years and aged entirely in new wood, has a lovely, mineral-driven bouquet that is both complex and sensual to the senses. The fruit is a little darker than its peers, with superb delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with very pure raspberry, wild strawberry and orange rind notes, the acidity well judged and the new oak is deftly integrated on the finish so that you hardly notice. Superb.
