Score 90/100 · Drink 2019-2029, Jeb Dunnuck, Feb 2019
A selection of the top Merlot brought up all in foudre, the 2016 Perron La Fleur offers more black cherry and blackberry fruit as well as more concentration, with a rich, mouthfilling texture, plenty of spice and saddle leather notes, and building tannins. It will keep for a decade.

Scented. Thick and sweet. Easy to like but not that complex. Dull, rather dead finish. (JR)
