Score 91-93/100 · Drink 2024-2034, Neal Martin, Jan 2023
The 2021 Vosne-Romanée Vieilles Vignes is perfumed, elegant and again, quite floral on the nose with light pressed rose petal scents, and touches of sous-bois . The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, one of Tremblay's spicier offerings, modest depth with commendable length on the finish. Seductive.

Always the most reticent of Tremblay's communal bottlings, the 2021 Vosne-Romanée Vieilles Vignes unwinds in the glass with notions of sweet red berries, plums, orange rind, rose petals and vine smoke. Medium to full-bodied, ample and layered, with satiny tannins and a bright, saline finish, it will offer an unusually broad drinking window this year.
