Barrel-aged wine blended in tank. Tank sample. Muted nose that suggests there’s something quite substantial under here. Real spread of quite charming fruit on the palate and then a whack of slightly bitter tannin. (JR)

Joseph Drouhin is one of the largest and most famous producers in Burgundy, making both domaine and négociant wines. It remains family-owned and run, now in the hands of the fourth generation.
