Cask sample. Appealing. Dark fruit, freshness on the palate with a crisp bite of acidity. Elegant. Savoury finish. (AWH)

The youngest parcel that informs the blend of the 2022 Morey-Saint-Denis Vieilles Vignes was planted 70 years ago, so it merits its denomination. Unfurling in the glass with aromas of plums, dark berries, spices and loamy soil, it's medium to full-bodied, rich and layered, with excellent concentration and a chassis of sweet, powdery tannin.
