Score 88-90/100 · Drink 2021-2031, Neal Martin, Jan 2020

The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny Village is a blend of Les Mombies and Les Nazoires from vines toward the bottom of the slope (0.8 hectares in total). It has elegant, refined wild strawberry and cranberry fruit that is reminiscent of, say, Ghislaine-Barthod. The medium-bodied palate displays supple tannins and a fine bead of acidity. Nicely balanced, with perhaps a slightly simple finish. Enjoy over the next decade.
