Tasting notes
Jadot’s Grands Echezeaux is the deepest and darkest of the Grands Crus. The nose is brooding with intensity and leads to a firm mouthful of fruit. This is stern and structured, a wine with gravitas that is nowhere near approachable at this stage (unlike many of the wines in 2022, which are amazingly open). Long and dense, this is a powerhouse.

The 2022 Grands Echézeaux Grand Cru (Maison Louis Jadot) delivers aromas of sweet raspberries and cherries mingled with spices, smoke and toasty new oak. Full-bodied, layered and velvety, it's a rich but lively wine that concludes with a minty finish.
Regularly one of the standouts of the domaine range, the 2022 Echézeaux Grand Cru (Domaine Louis Jadot) wafts from the glass with aromas of sweet cherries, smoke, spices and espresso roast. Full-bodied, broad and layered, with a rich core of fruit, powdery tannins and succulent acids, it concludes with a pure and expansive finish.
About the producer

Louis Jadot is arguably the most consistent négociant house in Burgundy. It has managed to straddle both the entry-level and fine wine market, while retaining respect in both.
