Good medium red. This shows a cool aspect on the nose, with aromas of cherry jam and flowers joined by licorice and medicinal notes. Today, this comes across as less complex than the Clos Saint-Denis, in a somewhat chunkier style. Finishes with tongue-dusting tannins and finishing notes of pepper and underbrush.

Medium red-ruby. Tangy raspberry, mocha, coffee and minerals on the nose; needs a racking. Sweet, pure flavors of raspberry and minerality. This has more volume than the Clos-Saint-Denis but also seems quite reserved.
