Tasting notes
Alluring aromas of papaya, smoked meat and mineral salts. The juicy guava fruit and vibrant acidity are nicely paired, giving this wine a luscious yet somehow taut texture. Finely balanced and delicate on the brown spice finish. This is the most feminine of the estate's dry Rieslings.

The 2013 (Forster) Jesuitengarten GG has an intense citrus color and intermixes ripe fruit aromas with minerals on the very rich but also subtle and precise nose. This a dramatic, thrilling Riesling of great purity and expression. Full-bodied and firmly structured it is bone dry and almost austere yet full of power, extract and complexity. The finish is very promising but if you are looking for charm you should better keep your lips off this wine.
