Score 95/100 · Drink 2028-2050, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jan 2024
The 2021 Mazoyères-Chambertin Grand Cru is just as elegant in bottle as it appeared to be from barrel. Soaring from the glass with exotic aromas of wild berries, plums, blood orange, vine smoke, exotic spices and pencil shavings, it's full-bodied, suave and mineral, with a deep core of fruit, powdery tannins and a long, rose-inflected finish. In its different style, it's every bit as good as its 2020 counterpart.
