Final blend. Lots of drive and acidity and even a little raw at this point. Lots of light tannin. Needs time. A tad astringent. (JR)

The 2017 Vosne-Romanée Aux Communes has a fragrant, floral bouquet of vibrant red fruit infused with rose petal and citrus notes. The palate is admittedly not terribly complex, since this is a modest Village Cru, but it is well balanced and gains more harmony toward the pretty, tart red cherry finish. Enjoy this over the next three to five years.
