Score 96/100 · Drink 2030-2070, Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate, Apr 2018

The golden-yellow 2010 Scharzhofberger Auslese (Gold Capsule) has rich, concentrated, tropical-flavored fruit as well as a dusty raisin aroma. On the palate, this is an enormously concentrated, sweet and creamy Auslese with a tight structure and a very long, intense finish. There are some caramel flavors in the aftertaste. Fascinating but still two decades too young. AP #7, tasted March 2018.
