Score 86-88/100 · Drink 2023-2029, Neal Martin, Jan 2023
The 2021 Vougeot Le Clos de Prieuré Blanc has a slightly anonymous nose, clean and delineated but missing discernable character. It doesn't have much to say compared to others. The palate is balanced with a soft opening and candied orange peel mixed with apricot. Shows fine weight, if just missing tension on the finish. Again, this will be very approachable and best drunk young.
