Tasting notes
The 2020 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru was not scored due to what seemed like some Brett issues. I will seek to taste another bottle. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting.

Lightly treacley on the nose. Really rather gorgeous! Polished tannins and very ripe fruit but not too sweet. Rather entrancing and seduces you into thinking you could drink this already! But that would be silly… It has some dynamism. (JR)
Firm reduction renders the nose unreadable. There is excellent intensity to the gamy, dense and overtly powerful larger-scaled flavors that terminate in a markedly structured, rustic and robust finish that is compact and quite serious. This is a full-on Charmes that is impressive in its fashion though it doesn't possess much finesse. 2035+
