Tasting notes
The Caprili 2013 Brunello di Montalcino is a pretty and complete wine that offers loads of dark fruit intensity with dried cherry and black plum. There are soft tones at the back with light shadings of spice and cured tobacco. This wine rolls over the palate with smooth intensity and a velvety touch.

Mid ruby. High-toned and pungent. Masses of acidity and leaf-mould aromas with marked acidity and tannin. Quite a trial at this point but it may well all come together beautifully eventually…. (JR)
Caprili's 2013 Moscadello di Montalcino is a refreshing dessert wine with a streamlined style and a touch of creamy effervescence. The style is vaguely reminiscent of a Moscato d'Asti. The mouthfeel is sweet and soft with pretty layers of almond paste, candied orange and acacia honey. Soft, creamy foam wraps softly over the palate.
