Tasting notes
Cask sample. Almost floral nose. Very precise acidity. Fine balance, with weight and concentration on the palate kept in check by the mineral thread. Really classy premier cru from this less well-known climat. Long, intriguing and delicious aftertaste. (AWH)

The 2020 Chablis Les Fourneaux 1er Cru presents a complex nose of citrus peel, red apple and crushed limestone, plus traces of white peach and a very light pastry/millefeuille scent. The palate is well balanced, taut and linear, with a saline entry. It gains weight and depth toward the finish and leaves lip-smacking salinity on the aftertaste. Excellent.
