Tasting notes
A little bit 'woody' (not oaky) on the nose, but so subtle that it is scented not intrusive. Light cedar crossed with grapefruit. The palate shines here: creamy, richly fruited in a Chablis context, and still with a crisp core of acidity, even in a warm year. (JH)

The 2019 Chablis Montée de Tonnerre 1er Cru has a taut, crisp, energetic bouquet that displays fine delineation and plenty of mineralité . The fresh, vibrant palate delivers crisp acidity and lemon zest, orange peel and subtle apricot notes, maintaining superb precision and poise through to the satisfyingly persistent finish. Superb!
