Tasting notes
Bright medium red. Vibrant nose offers dark fruits, menthol and smoky minerality. Silky and thick but with outstanding intensity and almost painful energy to its flavors of raspberry, crushed rock and mint lifted by a treble note of blood orange. Youthfully reticent but impressively dense, conveying sappy energy without any tart edges. Has the strength of material to fully enrobe its firm, ripe tannins. Wonderful energy and extract here.

Rather haunting nose. Real Chambolle lift and flirtation on the nose and then very tight and dry on the palate. One of the more youthful wines. (JR)
Bright medium red. Wild dark fruits on the nose, complicated by noble vegetal nuances, flowers and menthol. Juicy, wild and sharply delineated, with a compellingly tangy quality to the flavors of black raspberry, violet and minerals. Finishes with suave tannins, lovely violet perfume and a whiplash of dark fruits. Almost painfully intense on the echoing back end, but in a good way, of course.
