Floral, redcurrant, soft tannins, light body. Balanced, but pretty short and underwhelming. (RH)

The 2006 Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru has a very reserved bouquet that gently unfolds to reveal subtle fresh strawberry and orange rind scents, but it needs to express more of its terroir. The palate is medium-bodied with rounded tannins, moderate complexity with a slightly muddled and soft landing on the finish. I expected more from this grand cru.
