Score 86-88/100 · Drink 1997-2003, Pierre Rovani, Aug 1997
The Romanee-St.-Vivant reveals spicy strawberry aromas and flavors of sweet cherries. Elegant and long, this well-structured, light-to-medium-bodied wine should be drunk within the first 6 years of its release. As always, ratings with a score in parentheses indicate the wine was tasted from cask, not bottle. Louis Latour is represented by a different importer in each state.
