Tasting notes
The 2020 Chablis Fourchaume 1er Cru has a pretty nose, more low key compared to the Montée de Tonnerre with touches of white peach and light wild mind notes emerging with time. The palate is well balanced with a saline entry, fine depth, crisp acidity with commendable persistence on the finish. A little stricter than other cuvées from La Chablisienne…and I like that.

A fresh and clear Chablis with notes of lemons, sea salt, white peaches, chalk and sliced apples. Medium-bodied, with bright acidity and saline, stony and chalky layers. Subtle yet persistent. Drink or hold.
