Good bright red. Raspberry, licorice, crushed rock and a hint of tar on the nose. Sappy and suave, with mouthfilling texture and excellent energy to the dark fruit and mineral flavors. An impressively large-scaled, even powerful, village wine with a broad, long finish featuring substantial spicy tannins.
