Tasting notes
Aromas of minty green orchard fruit, citrus pith and hazelnuts introduce the 2017 Mâcon-Verzé, a medium-bodied, bright and refreshing wine with a delicately satiny attack, a pretty core of fruit and a saline finish. It's an understated Mâcon that was picked on the early side to emphasize freshness.

Several parcels making up 12 ha (30 acres). Fermented in tank and concrete and a little bit of oak but none new. In tank and about to bottle. Fragrant green fruit and just a touch chalky. Tangy and crisp with green-apple character. Bright and lively yet smooth and rounded in texture. (JH)
