The 2021 Vosne-Romanée Cros Parantoux 1er Cru has a compelling bouquet, mainly red fruit with hints of blueberry, pressed violet and a distant tang of shucked oyster shells. The palate is medium-bodied with finely chiselled, slightly chalky tannins, fresh and marine-influenced with a long saline finish. This shows the breeding of this Premier Cru, quintessential Cros Parantoux, a total victory over a difficult growing season. Divine. Two and a half barrels produced.

The 2021 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Au Cros-Parantoux is taut and incisive, offering up aromas of orange, smoked duck, spices, plums and sweet berries. Medium to full-bodied, ample and layered, it's built around a bright spine of acidity, concluding with a long, saline finish.
