Score 89/100 · Drink 2026-2038, Neal Martin, Jan 2023
The 2020 Gevrey-Chambertin Village offers plenty of black cherry and raspberry coulis notes on the nose, a little confit in style. The palate is medium-bodied with sweet tannins, fleshy with crisp acidity, tightening up towards its tannic finish. Needs 4-5 years.

Score 90/100 · Drink 2025-2045, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jan 2023
The 2020 Gevrey-Chambertin Village exhibits aromas of sweet cherries, raspberries, loamy soil and toasty oak. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and layered, with powdery tannins and succulent acids, it concludes with a penetrating finish. As usual, it's one of the more approachable wines in the range.
