Tasting notes
Tank sample. Light to mid crimson. Pretty, red-fruited aroma and a light dusting of crushed stones adding a mineral quality. Perhaps just slightly herbal too. Some stems? Very fine tannins, lovely freshness. A lightish style but the tannins are tender and melting already. Delicate, refined, long. May not be for the very long term but you won't need to wait too long for it. (JH)

The 2021 Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes offers light brambly red fruit with a touch of sous-bois scents. The palate is medium-bodied with light tannins, a Gevrey full Pinoté, gently spiced towards the finish. Fine.
Tank sample. Mid crimson. Quite a complex nose. Sweet and polished. Still a little edgy but there is lots here, and not a silly price. Long. (JR)
