Tasting notes
This is an extremely elegant expression of a category that’s all about tension between richness and acidity. Fantastic exotic aromas of mangoes. Very concentrated and succulent on the medium- to full-bodied palate. Such a polished finish for an ice wine, and that confirms this to be an exceptional example of the category. From organically grown grapes with Fair\'n Green certification. Drink or hold.

Picked on December 22 at about minus-nine degrees Celsius, the 2021 Oberhäuser Brücke Riesling Eiswein offers a fascinating, pure, fresh and spicy yet intense and concentrated bouquet of candied grapefruits and lemon fruits. Pretty sweet yet highly refined and elegant on the palate, this is a voluptuous, lush and generous, very intense Eiswein with fine salinity on the finish. Bottled with 207 grams per liter of residual sugar. 8% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in July 2022.
The 2021 Riesling Eiswein Oberhäuser Brücke Monopol Mittwoch is so named as it was picked on a frosty Wednesday night, in the early hours of December 22. The golden-hued wine shines with candied peach and hints of crushed mango flesh. The palate is compact and framed with pristine acidity. This is sweet, dollop-like, concentrated, fresh and so clean-cut. Its waves and waves of peachy depth are incredibly alluring. Wonderful and otherworldly. Its purity and vivid pleasure floors you.
