Tasting notes
Linear and searing in its brightness, the 2021 Chambertin Grand Cru needs time to come together. Even so, I expect it will always remain a pretty austere Burgundy. The 2021 is rather raw and unformed at this stage. Let’s see what happens. - Antonio Galloni

The 2021 Chambertin Grand Cru delivers aromas of smoky berries, orange zest, spices and rose petals, followed by a medium to full-bodied, rich and layered palate, with powdery structuring tannins and a spice-inflected finish.
About the producer

Based in Meursault and farming some of the finest vineyards in the Côte de Beaune, Henri Boillot is a leading address in Burgundy. He crafts fine Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, but the estate is best known for its flagship monopole vineyard, Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru Clos de la Mouchère.
