The 2020 Lieser Niederberg Helden Riesling Kabinett offers an intense and crystalline, very elegant and concentrated, flinty nose with intense fruit and beautiful slate aromas. Full-bodied, lush and sweet but also saline, this is a fabulous, seductive and irresistible Niederberg Helden that clearly shows the potential of the vineyard, which is reflected here in its most erotic expression. 8.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine from AP in July 2022.
Citrusy, spicy and smoky on the nose, not to forget the trademark herbal aroma. Lively and citrusy on the palate, refined by very subtle spicy and mineral nuances. Proof that Thomas Haag can do charming too. (MS)
