Tasting notes
The 2020 Felseneck Riesling Kabinett is quite generous on the nose that is reminiscent of lobster soup or risotto with saffron. Lush and generous on the palate, this is a wide and charmingly textured yet crystalline and saline Kabinett with fine grip on the finish. 8% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in July 2022.

So sleek, vibrant and juicy, this is a very sensual riesling that happens to have some unfermented-grape sugar. Rippling with white peach, citrus and white flowers. So bright and invigorating that you\'ve got to go back for more. From organically grown grapes with Fair\'n Green certification. Drink or hold.
Very obviously spontaneous yeast – as is the wont of this producer. But racy and vibrant with great balance of fruit and acid. Crackling stuff! Satin texture. Pungent but not offputtingly so. Dances on the palate. (JR)
Inviting herbal, fumy nose of Riesling spontaneously fermented, adding complexity to the citrus. Beautifully crisp and stony on the palate, so pure, and so clean-cut and fresh that the sweetness is almost a passing thought. Long, silky finish. (JH)
