Now on general release, this 15 year old blend selectively finished in cognac casks has a nose of honey-glazed apple, white pepper, cinnamon bark, red grape, toasted marshmallow, and baked cookies. Smooth and weighty on the tongue, the flavors showcase baked apples smothered in syrup, cinnamon, brown sugar, toffee, grape jelly, malt, chocolate ganache, and an array of spices. Brown sugar, spice, and apple pie carry through into a long finish.

Marmalade, almond, and cinnamon buns, this is a grand interpretation of rich and dry fruit, with an extra layer of lush fruit from the cognac cask. It is thoroughly integrated and the cognac is respectful of the scotch. The palate is luxurious with rich, dark fruits and toffee, velvety smooth, with the cognac fruit encircling the blend, and wood spice on the finish. The perfect dram for frosty winter nights.
