Tasting notes
The 2020 Puligny-Montrachet Les Folatières 1er Cru has a precise bouquet that has quite a strong marine element - a Crustacea note emerging. Hints of chamomile and white peach emerge. The palate is well balanced, but I feel that the Clavaillon has more delineation and nervosité at the moment.

Unwinding in the glass with aromas of citrus oil, Anjou pear, green apple, white flowers and pastry cream, framed by a deft touch of youthful reduction, the 2020 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Folatières is medium to full-bodied, ample and satiny, with a seamless, racy profile and a bright, saline finish.
