Tasting notes
The 2020 Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru, which had just been racked and with a little whole bunch, has a beautifully detailed nose with mineral-rich red fruit and conveys real energy. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, fine grip, quite firm and Morey-like towards the finish with a dab of dark chocolate on the aftertaste that I hope will be assimilated with age.

Dense crimson purple, this is nearly as welcoming as the Amoureuses but with its extra touch of wildness. Blackberries in there. Power all the way through, some salinity at the finish, warm and friendly. Magnums only.
