The 2019 Fixin (Méo-Camuzet Frère & Soeurs) is promising, delivering scents of wild berries, coniferous forest floor and peonies. Medium to full-bodied, bright and lively, it's nicely balanced, with powdery tannins and a mineral finish.

The 2019 Fixin Village had been racked into tank. Quite precocious on the nose, it offers vibrant blueberry and black cherry fruit that is quintessentially Fixin. The palate is medium-bodied with svelte tannins, plenty of candied red fruit and a judicious dab of white pepper toward the finish. A flavor-packed Fixin that will be difficult to resist in its youth.
