Tasting notes
Here too there is a whiff of the exotic on the white and yellow peach, melon and whisper of viognier-like nuances. The lavishly rich and generously proportioned flavors possess a caressing mouthfeel that carries over the sappy and mildly warm finish where a touch of wood appears. Like the Clos de la Garenne, this isn't racy but there is solid intensity.

The 2019 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Champ Canet opens with aromas of ripe peaches, orange blossom, white flowers and buttery pastry. Medium to full-bodied, rich and fleshy, it's round and layered, with ripe acids and good length on the finish.
