Tasting notes
The 2018 Vosne-Romanée Village, matured in 20–25% new oak, has a well-defined, almost airy bouquet of red cherries, cranberry and sous-bois aromas that develop rose petal notes with time. The palate is medium-bodied with a supple opening and quite juicy in style. An attractive peppery finish extends the aftertaste. Very fine.

Light to mid crimson. More obviously pretty than the Nuits Les Lavières. A delicate floral note entwined with the pure scented red fruits. Deliciously cool and flowing on the palate, not especially concentrated but it doesn't need to be. Extremely fine tannins. Refined. (JH)
Lightish for a Grivot wine and rather playful! Rich fruit and fine tannin. Certainly got Vosne’s energy. (JR)
