Score 89/100 · Drink 2021-2037, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Feb 2020
Open and expressive, the 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin Village bursts from the glass with notes of cassis, berries, licorice and sweet soil tones. Medium to full-bodied, supple and succulent, this is a fleshy, charming Gevrey. It hails from the finer soils from the southern side of the commune that tend to produce more immediate, open wines than the Brochon side of the appellation.
