Tasting notes
The 2009 Te Koko offers intense grapefruit, orange blossom and cedar notes with whiffs of honeysuckle and herbs. Medium to full-bodied, it shows a nice richness on the palate, with loads of fruit concentration and flavor lifted by lively, natural acidity. It finishes long, shows good potential for aging and should cellar gracefully to 2016+. Imported by Moet Hennessy USA, New York, NY

(a late release): Medium straw-yellow. Leesy aromas and flavors of orange zest, sexy oak spices and vanilla. Offers excellent body and richness but comes across as a bit aggressive on the back end, with a slightly fiery quality blurring the finish. Superb material here but not quite the precision or grip for outstanding.
