2016 Creation Chardonnay Reserve

The 2016 Reserve Chardonnay is a barrel selection made by winemaker JC Meyer, looking for more mineral expression of the grape variety via a vineyard selection and then taking the free run juice from the press. It has a refined bouquet with flecks of white chocolate and praline infusing the citrus fruit, well defined and full of energy. The palate is fresh and vibrant on the entry with a pleasant nuttiness in the background, quite tensile with good depth and grip on the finish, tangy orange peel on the aftertaste.
