Score 92/100 · Drink 2019-2030, Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate, Oct 2017
Fermented with 75% whole clusters, the 2015 Spätburgunder Schlossberg GG is pure, wonderfully fresh, mineral and spicy on the nose, with nothing showing off—all is delicate here. Full-bodied, pure and with great finesse and vitality, this is an intense and lingering Pinot Noir with a lot of charm, grip and tension. Still terribly young, this Pinot from Klingenberg will benefit from further bottle aging. Tasted at the "VDP Grosses Gewächs" presentation in Wiesbaden in August 2017.
