The 2014 Barolo Torriglione, tasted from magnum, is a very beautiful wine. The aromatics alone are exquisite. Dried flowers, mint, sweet red berry fruit, tobacco and licorice all grace this beguiling and expressive Barolo. All the elements come together so effortlessly. Slightly nervous tannins give the 2014 a real sense of vibrancy. It's a wonderful wine in a very challenging vintage. Available only in magnum.
