Fragrant and tangy with delicious clarity and zip. Quite lean, but with good purity as well. The structure is ready to drink now, while the red fruit should open up well. (RH)

A pretty bouquet of raspberries, dried flowers and a classy framing of new oak introduces the 2017 Chambolle-Musigny Village, a medium-bodied, succulent and open-knit, with a generous core of fruit, juicy acids and melting tannins. It will drink well in its youth while the 2016 and 2015 renditions are maturing in the cellar.
