I tasted four Pinot Noirs from 2014, all of them stunning. The 2014 Pinot Noir Elevation 1376 comes from Dijon clones 777, 667 and 115 with the cooperage slightly different than the Petaluma Gap. This is a much more cherry, red-fruit dominated Pinot with loads of spice box, loamy soil notes, underbrush and a boatload of ripe cherry and strawberry fruit. It is deep, rich, full-bodied and ideal for drinking over the next 5-7 years.
