Tasting notes
The 2013 Brunello di Montalcino offers a soft and fruity interpretation of this slightly cooler vintage. The bouquet is lively and bright with loads of primary fruit at its core. That fruit (and the balanced acidity) will surely be the motor to drive this wine forward during the course of its future evolution. There is a point of sourness with well managed tannins. The finish offers flavors of dried cherry, moist earth and tobacco.

Mid ruby with orange tinges. Lifted nose with hints of dark cherry and pine tree. Balsamic, cherry-fruit palate with medicinal notes. Ends hard and a little sour. (WS) (JR)
Dark red. Musky aromas of red berries, smoky spices, violet and cola. Fresh and fruity, in a forward, silky, floral style, featuring fresh red berry and potpourri flavors. The rising finish echoes the sweet spice notes and offers delightful cut and clarity.
