Score 16/20 · Drink 2020-2028, Jancis Robinson MW, Dec 2019

80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon grown on a selection of parcels totalling 5.45 ha. Average vine age 30 years. Aged for 18 months in barrels ex Vieux Château Certan. Terra Burdigala plays a part in distribution. Bright purplish crimson. Lively, very fruity, direct nose. Still some slightly drying tannins on the finish. But the fruit is very persistent. Firm rather than opulent. (JR)

A silky and fine wine with pretty plummy fruit and hints of flowers and walnut shell. Medium body, silky tannins and a fresh finish. Drink now.
