Tasting notes
Light bright gold. Dried orchard and pit fruits on the deeply perfumed nose, complicated by hints of white flowers and lemon zest that add vibrancy and lift. Ripe pear and nectarine flavors show impressive concentration and solid punch, and a gingery nuance adds spiciness. Opens up slowly on the lingering, mineral-accented finish, which leaves behind notes of honeysuckle and bitter peach pit.

Since there was no Ex Voto Blanc in 2014, the 2014 Hermitage Blanc got all the grapes normally designated for that cuvée. This juicy, pure, charming Hermitage is more upfront and ready to go than the 2013, and has lots of buttered citrus, exotic flowers, hints of minerality and white peach characteristics. It’s a classic white to enjoy through 2024.
