Tasted blind. Concentrated mid ruby with bright, orange tinges. Firm spice nose with lurking, perfumed, sweet fruit. Very fresh and lively on the palate. A little bit short on fruit, or perhaps it is just closed, making the acidity look a little tart and the tannins a little dry, at least for the moment. (WS)
