Score 91/100 · Drink 2023-2030, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Sep 2018
(this parcel features Pernot's oldest--"but healthy"--vines, at 64 years of age): Bright yellow. Reticent nose hints at citrus fruits and marzipan. Reveals more energy in the mouth, with lemon and stone fruit flavors enlivened by crushed-stone minerality; tight-grained but not hard or edgy. Finishes thick, lively and long, with subtle perfume. A lovely, complete wine from start to finish--and a terrific showing today.
